Those who actually believe that their vote counts probably also believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy too!!! If you want to know how it really works, and who picks the candidates, read Jon's article. If that is not convincing enough, get a copy of VOTESCAM by Jim Collier and read it. Beside that, all 'registered Voters' have unknowingly registered to vote in the Democracy, so they have no argument about the Republic which many believe should still exist in spite of their ignorance.
