check your iitb mail for the same to see whether you are the
"privileged" one

Dear Friends,

 

You all must be knowing that there is HR Continuum scheduled to be held on 25th July. For the continuum various speakers from top notch companies are coming to our campus.

In order to ensure that everyone in your batch is aware about the companies we are allocating each company to three people from your batch.

 

Following needs to be done by these people:

1.       Study  about the company- The size, no. of employees, type of employees, skill level, organisation structure etc.

2.       Get info about the sector and various HR practices followed in such type of an industry(e.g. Steel, Financial consulting etc)

3.       Understand any specific function performed by HR in that particular company

4.       Find out about the norms in the industry and any prospective HR challenges foreseen (e.g. Mergers, Downturns, Growth slowdown, Attrition etc)

 

Then all the three people(for one particular company) need to collate the information and prepare a small write-up (max 2 page) about the company and share it with all the batch.

 

The companies with each allocated person is shown below(Also given in attached excel sheet):
