First Grade update for this week:

 

Marshall May introduced us to financial realities with Monopoly money and assigning groups of students as either the "Bank", "Store", or "Family".  He gave the groups 6 or 7 Flash cards and provided instructions on what to do with the money.  For example, "Borrow $100 from the Bank", "You bought a dog and it cost you $40...".

 

I handed out an 11x11 Multiplication table for the kids to take home and "practice" for the summer for next year. :)
