2010 - 2011 Math Club

[Stonewall Jackson Dad's Club]

Hey Everyone,

I spoke to Mrs. Henderson about Math Club for this school year. We
plan to start Mid-Sept for grades 1-5. Let's meet sometime in the 2nd
week of Sept to discuss plans and anything we'd like to do
differently. I'll pick a date that is most convenient with the other
volunteer meetings going on.

We will wait until January to start Kindergarten.

If you know anyone else interested in helping us out this year with
lessons, let me know and I'll put them on the list.

For coordinators this year, I've bumped everyone up a grade. I can
take kinder.

Kinder: Jason Brewer
1st: Scott Ferguson
2nd: Alex Uy
3rd: Tom Turicchi

We need a volunteer each for 4th and 5th grade. Any takers?

Responsibilities are mainly keeping track of lesson topics and helping
juggle any last minute schedule conflicts that volunteers have.

When is the best time for everyone to meet to discuss anything we want
to add/change for this year?
Tuesday morning - 7:15 at the school?
After drop-off at school (8am).
Or some evening.

Hi Sara,

For the coordinator, we mainly need someone to keep track of lesson topics, offer suggestions if someone needs a topic one week (we have a list from teachers for each grade), and help

juggle any last minute schedule conflicts that volunteers have.
