If a Japanese couple has a daughter, they decorate Traditional
Japanese dolls in their house around this time of the year.

The teachers of SJLS will show the students Japanese dolls' decoration
during the class and describe the customs. (McColly sensei, please
correct me if I am wrong.)
If you have time after the class, it will be nice for you to visit
Nikkei Museum to see Japanese dolls' decorations and may ask your
child what they learn at her/his class about girls day.
These dolls will be displayed only this time of the year for Girls day
celebration.
