I'd like to see the names of the founders/originators of this group.
I do see Jim Reardon's name.
Please, who are the others?

Dave,

Our group is no secret. Roy Byrnes, Kim Lefner and Jim Reardon came
together over a common concern regarding the Option Agreement with CLC
pertaining to the Schuller property. Our group has expanded since
then to include others concerned about secrecy at City Hall.

As you can see by our name, our focus is on open representative
government. We believe that our elected leaders should make important
decisions in public and that they be accountable for these decisions.
The secrecy that prevailed during the negotiation of the CLC/Schuller
deal has produced a debacle. We are urging that the land acquisition
be handled differently.

You are invited to join us in this effort. The website is a focal
point, but we also meet occasionally to talk about the issues. You,
or anyone concerned about governance in our town is welcome to
participate.

Dear Dave,
One day, when I was unoccupied, I ran into 3 old friends, T. Jefferson, B.
Franklin and G. Washington. We decided to start something but, since the USA
had already been established, we settled on "SJC Citizens for Open
Government." I shall look forward to seeing you on Friday and I shall expect
to enlist you in our secret society. At that time, I'll give you our special
decoder ring, secret handshake and small sample of the explosive with which
we'll blow up City Hall. I am sorry but you will have to buy your white robe
yourself.
After I explain our secret agenda and nefarious agenda, I think you will
want to join us -- as many others have aleady.
Roy
