Gift for UK from batch of 1990

Hi Guys,

Glad to see a few of you mention this. I have been discussing this with Shashi but did not shoot out an email. We are aware of an initiative to give Mr Shivprakash a gift from the Old Boys - the details have been emailed and also put up on Facebook. Those interested can contribute there.

We were thinking of giving a retirement gift to UK from batch of 1990. Those of you who are interested in contributing, please let me know. If we have a good number from our batch I will share the details on how we could collect the money through the OBA account. We could hand over the gift to UK at an appropriate time this year.

Was real heartening to see such a good response. I had received around 24 responses in within 4 hours of shooting the email.

I met UK in School today and mentioned that we were planning on giving him a gift from our batch. He kept saying it was not necessary and I could sense he was very touched with the gesture.

Had a call with Jimmy Anklesaria last evening and he is ok collecting cheques from US folks.

Glad to see a few of you mention this. I have been discussing this with Shashi but did not shoot out an email. We are aware of an initiative to give Mr Shivprakash a gift from the Old Boys - the details have been emailed and also put up on Facebook. Those interested can contribute there.

 

We were thinking of giving a retirement gift to UK from batch of 1990. Those of you who are interested in contributing, please let me know. If we have a good number from our batch I will share the details on how we could collect the money through the OBA account. We could hand over the gift to UK at an appropriate time this year.

HI Kartik,

I would suggest that you just cut a cheque (in Auz $) and send it to Kiran, There would a bit in charges for clearing the cheque and it may take upto 20 days to clear. I guess that's the best way.
