My Dear Sir,

I have nothing but fond memories of you.  You were a tough but fair teacher who had a unique ability to bring not only the strong students forward in the subject but also the weak. 

You were able to transform (and get them to pass ICSE) weak students whose only response to a Kannada Question paper was to repeat the question paper (getting them 1 or 2 marks).  

You were also able to bring joy and cultivate a deeper understanding of the beautiful Kannada language to the stronger students. 

I am a native Tamil speaker and learnt to appreciate Kannada so much and I owe that to you.  Your lessons on Saaladha Magu, Meenakshi Mane Meshtru etc. were simply superb and I still remember those stories to this day. 

You were firm but always an endearing person even when you were disciplining us.  You had a great “Don’t worry maadkolbedi” attitude towards life that has had an indelible influence in my life.  I feel truly blessed to have you as one of my teachers and mentors early in my life.  

Please feel free to contact me for any reason and I’d be happy to help you in any way I am able.   Thank you sir!!! Thank you very much.
