Imran clinches Masters Title in Virtual Axis Pakistan Open Tenpin Bowling Event

 

KARACHI:  Muhammad Imran annexed the title of master singles title of of Virtual Axis Pakistan Open Tenpin Bowling Tournament 2014. Kawal bagged women singles title in the finals of the 3-day championship, which concluded here at Hotshot Arena. Imran pocked Rs 40,000 prize money with trophy.

110 Male & Female bowlers participated in the finals organized by Virtual Axis. The Championship marked a noteworthy effort to enhance the performances of players in National Ranking Event and it received healthy appreciation from the players that resulted in record participation

In master singles Muhammad Imran led the tournament with average score of 199 while top seeded Aleem Agha finished runners-up (176 avg) and received Rs 20,000 with trophy. Usman Ghani, who secured 3rd position (174 avg) was awarded Rs 10,000 along with a trophy.

In amateur singles,  Sarim Kazim Raza with stunning performance secured 1st position ( 189 Avg pts), received Rs 15,000 cash award along with a winning trophy, Sadaqat Ali was the runners-up (182 avg) and received Rs 10,000 and trophy while Faizan Tariq earned 3rd position (180 avg) and got Rs 7,500 with trophy.

In women singles Kawal lifted the title with average of 151. She received 5,000 along with winning trophy, Anum Fahad was the runners-up with average 132 and received Rs.3,000 cash prize with a Runners up Trophies . Mavish Adnan secured 3rd position with Average score of 91 received 2,000 rupees and trophies.

In novices singles  Muhammad Zohaib secured 1st position ( 156 pin fall) and received  Rs 5,000 cash award along with trophy, Hussain Ali was the \runners-up (149 pin fall), received Rs 3,000 and a Runners up Trophy, Muhammad Sohail took 3rd Position (149 pinfall) and he received Rs  2,000 and trophy

Other results are:

MASTER DOUBLES: After the aggressive game play Muhammad Fazil Maniya & Owais Siddique secured 1st position and received Rs.10,000and a Winning Trophies. The 2nd Position was obtained by Robert Shangara & Ahmed Shaknani and received Rs.6,000 cash prize with Runners up Trophies.  The 3rd Position was secured by Zahid Mehmood & Daniyal Shah received 4,000 rupees and trophies

AMATEUR DOUBLES: After the aggressive game play Faizan Tariq& Tariq Pervez secured 1st position and received Rs.8,000 and a Winning Trophies. The 2nd Position was obtained by Sadaqat Ali & Shahjehan Bhati and received Rs.4, 000 cash prize with Runners up Trophies.  The 3rd Position was secured by Muhammad Junaid & Imran Manzoor received 3,000 rupees and trophies

4 MEN’S TEAM EVENT: In team events Category Naseem AhmadTeam secure the place in final by defeating the Robert’s team. The players of Winning Team Naseem Ahmad Queshi (Caption), daniyal Shah, Ansar Rizwan& Abdul Hye  graib the Winning Trophy and awarded Rs 12,000 , while teamRobert Shangara (C) Muhammad Haroon, Jawad Usman & Muhammad Zainwon Runners-up Trophy and a Rs 8,000.while Sajjad Shah, Sumair Jawed, Sarim karim & Muhammad Gulzaar secure 3rd position and received Rs.4,000Cast Award with Trophy.

Mr Tamoor Talpoor ,Chairman Standing Committee on Education honoured the Award Ceremony as a Chief Guest accompanied by    Mr. Khawaja Munir Ahmed,  Chairman Khawaja Groups of Industries & Dircetor Virtual Axis  Mr  Khawaja Ahmed Fawad & Khawaja Ahmed Mustaqeem CEO Virtual Axis Entertainment Pvt Ltd. The Virtual Axis Management & Secretary PTBF and  General Secretary STBA welcomed the worthy Guests. The Chief Guest distributed Cash Awards & Trophies to winning participants. Mr.Khawaja Ahmed Fawad concluded the ceremony by giving a note of thank to the participants, honourable guests and media for their dedicated support which resulted in the success of the event.

 “It is encouraging and surprising that we have the Bowling skills of international standards in our youth and the event conducted and witnessed by me is evidence to the fact. I am quite impressed from Virtual Axis management Team  and appreciate their way to promote the youth talent and their promotion. He said Govt of Sindh will make an effort to construct State of the Art Bowling Alleys in sindh.
