Shaikh conquered the TITLE of 3rd Saldera Open Tenpin Bowling
Championship 2016

Shaikh won the Women’s Singles Title of 3rd Saldera Open Tenpin Bowling Championship 2016
Over 150 Male & Female Bowlers played the Finals of 3rd Saldera Open Tenpin Bowling Championship 2016 that was organized by Sindh
Tenpin Bowling Association on 9th
to 18th December 2016 at the Royal Rodale Club, DHA, Karachi. The Championship
lasted for 10 days with participants in Masters,
Open / Graded Singles, Women’s, Under 24, Under 12, NOVICE/Beginners, Doubles
& Team Event & Inter-Media categories with Participants from Japan, Malaysia, Peshawar, Islamabad & Karachi. Majority of young
players took part actively in NOVICE, Under 12 & Under 24 category.
The championship marked a noteworthy effort to enhance the performances of
players in National Ranking Event and it received healthy appreciation from the
players that resulted in record participation.
The event is to acknowledge the emerging world class talent
“Ahmer Abbas Saldera”, titled with ‘Saldera’, an amazing 19-year-old talented
player who scored the Perfect Game of 300 three times in Hostory of Pakistan
Bowling and currently leading the chart in Pakistan amongst Master and
experienced players.
MASTER SINGLES: in Finals of Master Event Ahmer Abbass
Saldera beat Ali Suria with 71 lead (222, 151) and won the Championship and
received PKR 75,000 cash award along with a TITLE Trophy, while Ali Suria was the Runners-up and received PKR 30,000 with
a Runner up trophy, whereas Daniyal Shah secured 3rd position and he was awarded PKR 15,000
cash along with a trophy.
OPEN SINGLES: Ali
Suria win the Open single Tile with outstanding performance and beat top
seeded Ahmer Abbass Saldera with close match in step leader Final 185 ,183, Ali
Suria received PKR 40,000 cash award along with a Winning Trophy,
while Ahmer Abbas Saldera was the
Runners-up received PKR 20,000 with a Runner up trophy, whereas Daniyal Shah secured
3rd position and he was awarded PKR 10,000 cash along with a trophy.
WOMEN’S SINGLES: Janet Shaikh lead the Women Category
with the average of 162 Average Score and received 10,000 Cash Award along with Winning Trophy, Ayesha Abbas Saldera was the runners-up with average 135 Average
and received Rs.5,000 cash prize with a Runners up Trophies . Noor Haironi from malaysia secured 3rd position with 128 Avg received 2,500 rupees and trophies.
GRADED SINGLES: Sarim Kazim with stunning
performance secured 1st position received PKR 25,000 cash
award along with a Winning Trophy, Taha
Muzamil was the Runners-up and received PKR 15,000 and a
Runners up Trophy, Abdul Hye earned 3rd position and he received PKR 7,500 and
trophy.
NOVICE (Beginners SINGLES): Abdula
Tahir with striking
performance scored 1st position (171 Avg. received PKR 6,000
cash award along with a Winning Trophy, young Unaib Shafi a 13 yr old was the Runners-up (168 Avg), received PKR 4,000
and a Runners up Trophy, Shazeb Memon
took 3rd Position (161 Avg) and he received PKR 2,000
and trophy
UNDER 12: Ibrahim Aziz with stunning performance secured 1st
position (146 Avg pts), received PKR 5,000 cash award along with a Winning Trophy, Amna Saldera was the Runners-up (118 avg),
received PKR 3,000 and a Runners up Trophy, Abdur Rehman earned
3rd position (83 avg) and he received PKR 2,000 and trophy.
UNDER 24: Ahmer Abbas with injured Thumb showed a stunning
performance secured 1st position with a 216 Average pts, received PKR 10,000
cash award along with a Winning Trophy, Daniyal
Shah was the Runners-up with average of 200, received PKR 5,000
and a Runners up Trophy, Ali Suria
the defending Champion of under 24 earned 3rd position with average of 161 and
he received PKR 2,500 and trophy. and jawad Usman on 4th Position with 147 average
DOUBLE: After the aggressive game play Shabbir Lahkarwala & Imran
Bapra secured 1st position and received Rs.20,000 and a Winning
Trophies. The 2nd Position was obtained by Ashiq
Ali & Haroon Anwer received Rs.16,000
cash prize with Runners up Trophies. The 3rd Position was secured by Danyal Shah & Aleem Agha received 6,000
rupees and trophies
DOUBLES GRADED: After the aggressive game play Taha Mazumal & Asfand yar Younas secured
1st position and received Rs.10,000 and a Winning Trophies. The 2nd
Position was obtained by Danish Bakshi
& Abdul Hye and received Rs.6,000 cash prize with Runners up
Trophies. The 3rd Position was secured by Osama Ayoub & Abid Ahmed received 4,000 rupees and
trophies
MIX TEAM: In team events Category Janet
Shaikh Team secured the place in final by defeating the Muhammad Fazil
team. The players of Winning Team Janet Shaikh, Ahmed Shakhani, Danish
Bakshi & Abdul Hye grabbed the Winning Trophy and were awarded Rs 24,000
, while team Mohammad Fazil, Farhan Mania, Jawwad Usman & Dr Ali Mohsin won
Runners-up Trophy and a Rs 16000.while Ahmer Abbas Saldera, Afzal
Akhtar, Waqas Ali & Farhaj Ahmed secure 3rd position and received Rs.12,000
Cash Award with Trophy.

Khan Saldera, Chief of Saldera honoured the Award Ceremony as a Chief Guest accompanied
by Mr. Muzamil
Qurashi, CEO, Taha Ibrahim Taxtile Mill, Ahmed Ali Rajpoot, Secretary,
Sindh Olympic Association, Chairman Organizing Committee -
Abbass Khas Saldera &The CEO of Royal Rodale expressed their support to promotion of this sport.
The STBA Management Team, Mr Aleem Agha President
and Romis Ali- Founder General Secretary welcomed the
worthy Guests. The Chief Guest distributed
Cash Awards & Trophies to winning participants. Mr. Aleem Agha
concluded the ceremony by giving a note of thank to the participants,
honorable guests and media for their dedicated support which resulted in the
success of the event.

encouraging and surprising that we have the Bowling skills of international
standards in our youth and the event conducted and witnessed by me is an
evidence to the fact. I am quite impressed from STBA Officials and appreciate
their way to promote the youth talent and their promotion.”
At the end he
expressed his feelings and said I can see bright future of sport, while seeing
the dedication and devotion of STBA Officials.
While talking to
Media, Romis Ali, Founder General Secretary of STBA said
"Federation is taking
serious steps to promote bowling in Pakistan. Time is not far away when
we will truly enlighten the name of our country across the world. He said
Government should take keen interest to promote bowling in Pakistan and come
forward to establish Bowling Alleys in every Province Capital of Pakistan.
Aleem Agha,
Senior Vice President of STBA, appealed to
Government of Sindh that Tenpin Bowling has not yet been able to
establish its
own club with Training facilities and the players are facing lot of
difficulties in this regards. Government can play its part and extend
support
to Association for suited measures. In order to take part in
international
events we desperately need training and coaching facilities to polish
the skills of
our player in befitting manners. We can get our share as this sport
is much popular and being played in 144 countries. While maintaining our
Bowling Club we will be able to train our young players and get them
attracted to this sport. It is renowned fact we do have skills of
international standards
and this event is the evidence of it.
Mr
Aleem Agha concluded the evening , and registered members were given
high importance and encouragement for their participation to create a lively
and enjoyable environment after a tough competition. . The evening ended with delicious Dinner followed by
a word of thanks by Abbass Khan Saldera, for enthusiastic and highly supportive
participation and presence of the audience and the players.
