Our next SJAA Imaging SIG will take place over Zoom on Wednesday August 20, 2025 at 7:30pm.  Brian Fulda will present a talk entitled "Demystifying Mosaics: From Scary to Simple". 

Please note that the meeting has moved from its usual Tuesday night to a Wednesday night this month.

We officially start the meeting at 7:30pm Pacific Time, but feel free to connect any time after 7pm. During the "early time" we'll make sure Brian can share screens, be heard, etc, but after that hopefully quick setup, we'll have open Zoom socializing until the meeting starts.

Demystifying Mosaics: From Scary to Simple

Have you avoided mosaics because they sound complicated? In this talk, I’ll show you how easy and rewarding they can be — and how they completely transformed my astrophotography. You’ll learn how to plan and capture mosaics—even without a traditional telescope—and follow my pre- and post-processing workflow in AstroPixelProcessor and Photoshop. By the end, you’ll be piecing the universe together one frame at a time.
