Celebrate Astronomy Day on April 20

Hello SJAA Members and Friends,
Here is an opportunity to engage with the public and help fulfill the mission of the SJAA of bringing astronomy and science to the public.

Next Saturday, the SJAA will have an Astronomy Day set up at the San Jose Martin Luther King Public Library. And we could use help. Of course SJAA will have it's H-alpha but it would be great to have standard filtered scopes or a "night" scope or two set up for display. Add points for an astro-photographer with a printed image/Laptop display! Triple points if one of those images is solar :-).

Please consider helping reach out to the public - we'd love the diversity - and you can drive your car right to where we will set up. Details below:

Where: San Jose Public Library, Fourth and San Fernando Streets (on the lawn University entrance to the Library)
When:  Saturday April 20th
Time:   11:00AM - 3:00 PM  (Set up time 10:AM)
