SJAA Board Opening

Hello SJAA Members,

The SJAA board currently has 8 of it's 9 seats filled.  So we are looking for a volunteer to fill that 9th spot!

What exactly is expected of an SJAA board member?  Well to be honest, not very much:

* Serve a 2 year term

* Attend the monthly board meetings, currently 6pm-8pm at Houge Park on Saturdays nearest the full moon

* Have a passion for Astronomy

And that is it!   If you want to be a program director or a member of the executive staff, you are more than welcome to offer to take on the extra responsibility.  Board members are not required or even encouraged to do so.

The board will likely vote the fill the position as soon as we have an interested party.   So don't hesitate to email me at the address below.
