Aikido Founder Morihei Ueshiba passed away on this day in 1969 - April 26th. Here is the Founder's grave at Kozanji Temple in Tanabe rendered by the Manga artist Jun Tanaka.

Due to shelter-in-place, we can’t gather at our dojo for O’Sensei’s memorial this year.

In memory of O’Sensei, we’ll pray for the world’s peace, pray for the world will get over Covid pandemic soon; then we will be back to continue practice and help fulfill O’Sensei wishes to popularize Aikido.

Today is also 19th anniversary of our Tenshinkai Aikido San Jose
