Here are some thoughts...

• Q1 could be improved by adding a time frame – is it ever, the last year, etc? And by the bottle (some might just buy by the gals in bars / restaurant)
• Part 2 Q3 we have wine boxes in the UK , should that be added?
• Q6 should be worded ‘To what extent do you agree that each of the following is important when buying wine?’
• Part 3 Q1 There are many more characteristics to wine and if the list appears too basic it could undermine the credibility of the survey to more serious consumers.  Suggest you extend this list.
• Q2 Arguably this should be earlier in the questionnaire and could be part of the first few Qs.  Also you should probably ask at the same time which you buy; someone could prefer white but buy more red!
• Q3 I am no expert here (except to drink it) but you have missed Rioja off the list of varieties!
• Part about Ole Q5 suggest should be a sliding 5 point scale on value
• Q6 for me very hard to answer outside a retail context or without considering a particular occasion!
• Q9 the label looks a bit pink is this intentional or to do with the quality of the reproduction (always a very important issue with online – suggest you have a look at it on a range fo different devices).  If it wee red then it would seem more Spanish to me.
• Part VI you ought to at least have some question about income / occupation etc, esp important given the price fo the wine!

Hello Professor Vincent,

 

I hope you are doing very well. We miss you here! First of all, I wanted to say thank you for submitting our grades shortly after we submitted our final project. It has been appreciated by everyone. Second, I was wondering if I could ask you for some advice on behalf of my workgroup.

 

We have been recently assigned a Business Challenge for this new term. This is a research challenge in which we have to interview around 600 people in order to find out wether or not we should be launching a new brand of Spanish wine in various countries. For this we have created a survey that we will be sending out sometime this upcoming week. Since we know that you have so much experience in the field, my group-mates and I were wondering if it would be possible for you to give us some feedback on the survey we have created. We really value your opinion and would greatly appreciate if you could tell us if we are making any obvious mistakes as we are all still in the process of learning about survey-making. I am attaching the survey in case you have time to take a look at it.
