siwapp 0.4 out, would you help with the translation?

Good day to everyone.

Siwapp 0.4 is finished, and I like to ask you for your help in translation.

I'd also like to introduce you to leo, who is going to coordinate the translation efforts.

I've posted all the translation files we already have. Besides the spanish translation, they all are incomplete.

If any of you would like to make a localized version. (say, brazillian portuguese), please take the appropiate language file and rename it with the localized version name. Say you want to make a brazillian translation:

   -  fetch the messages.pt.xml

   - rename it to messages.pt_BR.xml

   - also edit the file and change the "target_language" atribute of the "file" tag to the localized version also .

once you're done, you could repost the file here in the group, or send it to l...@markhaus.com.

Hello all

As Jose has already anounced in the group, I´m coordinating the
translations of the interface of the siwapp system.

For the people that have never translated an xml file, there are some
guidelines.

These xml translation files are all synchronized now. that means that
the the list of texts to translate are organized in the same order, so
the previous translations that you have done before are still there,
but in the corresponding section of the xml file.

Inside the files, the translations are structured inside translation units.

For example, let´s say we have this translation unit:

<trans-unit>
<source>Welcome, [1]!</source>
<target></target>
</trans-unit>

the source text (in english ) are placed between the <source> ...
</source> tags,
the translations should be placed between the <target> ... </target> tags.
To translate, please look for empty translations, that means, lines
that have no text between the target tags, and translate the text
between the <source> tags, above.

After translated (to spanish, in this example), the translation unit
should look like this:

<trans-unit>
<source>Welcome, [1]!</source>
<target>Bienvenido, [1]!</target>
</trans-unit>

I translated earlier version of Siwapp 0.3.

What are the differences between 0.3 and 0.4 siwapp?
Is there any comparison of functionality?

piotr I do remember you perfectly well.

actually they are quite a few changes

  - 'estimates' functionality

  - 'products' functionality

  - 'customers', 'products', 'estimates' are now optional you can disable or enable them anytime

  - new set of fonts for the pdf generator: 'dejavu' with much wider character support

  - updated pdf generator plugin

  - in the dashboard, the total for each tax is also showed

  - small changes in the invoice ui

  - lots of small bug corrections

I've seen both mohsen and wt (for german) have updated the language files in our google sites translations page, so I've updated every language there to the point we actually have it at.

Feel free to post the translations to this group, to the google sites page, or to leo

ps: the section I just updated is the "siwapp-files" section, which holds the translation files for the "siwapp" part of the app. there is also a "installer-files" section, which holds the translation files for the "installer" part of the app.

fusionPT, besides the sentences that you translated, was all of it portuguese from portugal?? it that is so, then we'll add a "portuguese from portugal" language. otherwise, we'll stick with "portuguese" label.

I not find empty "<target></target>" in messages_installer.pl.xml file
so I update only messages_siwapp.pl.xml file.
