replicating client setting features on recurring invoice

just for you to know. (or to say against, if you feel you have to):
I''ve added the same "client autosaving" feature that invoices have to
the recurring invoice . that means when you save some recurring
invoice, the system checks for a client with that data. if it finds
it, it updates it. otherwise the app creates a new client for the
"client" table.

i have some issues with that as I wanted my nameslug to be name+identification (be cause i've several custs with the same name) but the recurringInvoice task create the client again as it want to be nameslug = condensed name only. 

how and where can i modify the building of the nameslug and the checking of clients using nameslug=name+identification
