issue with siwapp customer duplication

Hello,

I am getting following two issues:

1- When I edited an already created invoice and edit the name field, it creates a duplicate customer. 

2- When I create a new customer, and it autocompletes , now I change the name so it again creates a duplicate customer. 

These should not occur. Please tell me how to make sure, that if email already exists then customer cannot be created
