Did you make it to night five on Five Nights at Freddy's 2 (FNAF2), only to somehow lose your saved game and have to start all over from the beginning? Do you want to play the custom nights without having to go through and beat the entire game? This article will teach you hacks and cheats to help you defeat Freddy Fazbear!

It's a common, fun thought experiment to imagine how you might go about explaining a television or a phone to a medieval peasant. The prospect is challenging, but feels ultimately achievable through the fundamental commonality of the human experience. The thought of explaining "the pending release of a Nicolas Cage film that is legally distinct from the PC game Five Nights At Freddy's, but which is also 100% an adaptation of said game", however, makes me want to burst into tears. There are just so many layers of pop culture context accreted in that concept, so much information that is meaningless without a full understanding of the rest, that I just can't think where to begin.

It's 1323 AD. You're scrubbing the guts off a cabbage, after a wounded brigand crawled into your meagre field to die, just before dawn. Suddenly there is a blinding light, which you may well assume is Christ, and you have been transported to a featureless concrete room. I am standing there, with an expression of profound apology on my face, and this is what I say to you:

Look, I'm really sorry about this. You will not die here. You will be returned home, as soon as you have grasped the truth of what I am about to tell you. It is vital, then, that you pay close attention to everything I say.

You have been taken to a time many years ahead of your own. In this time, we have special pieces of glass, which we can command to show us dreams, whenever we please. Some dreams are the same every time, and are called movies. Some, you can change the outcome of, by controlling them with movements of your hands. These are called games. Both types of dreams are made by people.

There is a popular game. In it, you dream you are a man who must guard a hall for five nights. Beasts creep around the hall each night, trying to devour you. They are statues, which have become alive, and they have metal bones inside them. The main beast is a bear named Frederick, and the hall is named after him.

If you look upon Frederick or any of his beasts, they cannot do harm to you. But if one approaches you unseen, it will scream most loudly, and you will die in the dream. People experience this dream, over and over again, for pleasure. It is extremely popular with children.

This dream is so popular, that some people wanted to make a version of it that you could not control - a movie. They knew that if they could make this version of the dream, a lot of people would give them gold for it. But making a dream of any kind is very complex. Although they keep trying, the people have not been able to make it yet.

But then some other people, who had made many movies before, saw that many people wanted to experience this dream, that the first group of people intended to make. However, the pope forbids us from making dreams called by the same names as any which have already been made by others. Yes, the pope. That's right, In Holy Rome. Indeed. The very same.

Now, you can make a dream which is exactly the same as someone else's, you understand - so long as it has a different name, and things in it look very slightly different. And so, the dream made by the second group of people is still about a man who must avoid being savaged by beasts in a hall at night. But in this dream, the captain of the beasts is named William. He is some manner of stoat, and the hall is named in his honour. There is also a most frightening ostrich, which is a great bird from a distant land.

What makes this dream most exciting to people, is that the man who must guard the hall is well known to many. He is called Nicolas, and he is in many dreams. He is always different people, and yet it is always Nicolas. He is beloved for the way that he shouts and screams and laughs. Some people think he is good at being in dreams. Others think he is dreadful at it, but they still talk about Nicolas very often, and seek out the dreams which feature him.

Anyway. Next month, on February 12th, people will be able to summon The Dream Of Nicolas And The Hall Of William The Beast to their pieces of glass. Usually, they would go to a great room and watch the dream together on a huge glass. But there is a terrible plague, and the pope forbids us from meeting outside of our homes because of it.

Very well - yes, you may return to your home now. I need a lie down, to be honest. But here: before you go, please take this special piece of glass, which has been prepared to show you the Second Dream Of The Age Of Empires. And that will fuck you right up.

Welcome to your new summer job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, where kids and parents alike come for entertainment and food as far as the eye can see! The main attraction is Freddy Fazbear, of course; and his two friends. They are animatronic robots, programmed to please the crowds! The robots' behavior has become somewhat unpredictable at night however, and it was much cheaper to hire you as a security guard than to find a repairman.

From your small office you must watch the security cameras carefully. You have a very limited amount of electricity that you're allowed to use per night (corporate budget cuts, you know). That means when you run out of power for the night- no more security doors and no more lights! If something isn't right- namely if Freddybear or his friends aren't in their proper places, you must find them on the monitors and protect yourself if needed!

Can you survive five nights at Freddy's?

From playing FNaF 3 I'm not sure if I'm wrong but it seems to take place shortly after the events after FNaF2, which happens after FNaF1, but some people have been telling me it's the other way around, in that FNaF 3 comes first, then 1 & 2.

Using this video and this video from the Game Theorists Youtube channel, the timeline goes as follows. (If you want to watch the video yourself he starts some explaining around 4:00 and starts the timeline at 6:50.)

First FNAF 1. William Afton uses a springtrap suit and lures 5 kids into an employee only section, killing them and giving us, Chica AKA Susie, Golden Freddy AKA Cassidy, Freddy AKA Gabriel, Foxy AKA Fritz, and Bonnie AKA Jeremy. He hides their bodies in animitronic suits. This resturant closes because people get scared of the missing children and stop coming.

Then Sister Location. (Not the underground one we know, I'll get to that later) This is open for just a single day due to Circus Baby luring in William Afton's daughter, Elizibith Afton and killing her. After she dies her spirit takes over Circus Baby.

Then FNAF 4. This is also where the Bite of 83' takes place, killing William Afton's son, Micheal Afton. William Afton puts his son back together creating Purple Guy. It should be noted that William is still using the springtrap suit to kill children.

While this is going on Micheal Afton takes a job at FNAF Sister Location, where in the end Micheal get's scooped but lives giving even more reason to believe that he is a robot.

Then we go to FNAF 2 where William Afton kills Herry's daughter who goes on to become the Puppet (Henry helped William design and build the animironics) The Puppet gives life to all of the other Lost Souls putting them in suits just like all of the others. William Afton is suspected of killing the missing children and he is not allowed back. He continues to sneak back in disguised as a security guard until the restaurant closes.

The animatronics were bought, and a new restaurant opened. The old animatronics were taken apart for parts for the new animatronics. The new ones had facial recognition, and were tied into a criminal database.

This restaurant went out of business because of strange behavior from the new animatronics. The new animatronics were scrapped (because of the tampering) , but the old were kept around for the possibility of a new restaurant.

If you're just interested in the chronological order of the games, then I hope this already answers your question. But, if you're interested in the story, keep reading. I'll try, to the best of my abilities, to make the story as painless as possible.

In the 1980's, Fredbear's Family Diner opens. The diner commissioned two engineers to create animatronic mascots for them. The engineers were Henry Emily (Tape Guy in FNAF 6) and William Afton (Purple Guy). They created the "springlock animatronics", which were Fredbear (Golden Freddy) and Bonnie (Springtrap). The springlock animatronics are unique, in that they are hybrid mascot suits, which can be used by humans, and move automatically through the use of endoskeletons. The animatronics' fatal flaw, however, lies in the springlocks, in which sudden movements or moisture can cause the springlocks to come loose, and potentially damage the endoskeleton, or worse, kill someone wearing the suit.1

After the diner was opened, Henry's daughter Charlotte was murdered by William, outside of the diner. Her soul then possessed The Puppet, serving as a guardian for the souls of the children later. Henry, devastated by his daughter's death, faded from public view.

With the murder making news and sparking a criminal investigation, the owners of the diner ran off and sold their trademark to an unknown group of individuals, who then turned the franchise into a multimillion dollar company, Fazbear Entertainment, Inc. During their prime, they made merchandise and TV shows around Fredbear, called "Fredbear & Friends", introducing a myriad of characters such as Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Freddy Fazbear.

After Fazbear Entertainment managed to clean the stain on their name, the company decided to re-open Fredbear's again. Then, on the first week of its grand re-opening, William Afton's youngest son (The Crying Child/Gregory1), was having a birthday party in the diner, along with his family, including his older brother Michael Afton2.
