Here is a sneek peek into the much awaited period movie in Tamil after a very long time.
The film stars Tamil hero Arya and English heroine Amy Jackson, the ‘Miss Teen World 2009’ Pageant Winner !
The film is set in Chennai, the erstwhile ‘Madrasapattinam’ a.k.a ‘Madras’ in the Independence Struggle era of the 1940s portraying love between a British girl and a Madrasi Dhobi who is a well known wrestling champion. The whole movie revolves around places in Washermanpet. The film has generated lot of buzz among Tamil film enthusiasts and is opening to a grand release this weekend.
