From the iconic Niagara Falls and the gorges of the Finger Lakes, to the Thousand Islands region and the oceanfront beaches of Long Island, New York State's park system provides year-round, affordable outdoor recreation and educational opportunities to more than 74 million visitors each year. The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation operates more than 250 state parks, historic sites, boat launches and nature centers encompassing over 350,000 acres.
A wallet-size Empire Pass Card that can be shared within a household is now available. It's a family-friendly alternative to the traditional window decal, and not assigned to a specific vehicle. The card can be used by parents, grandparents, caregivers and others.
The Empire Pass Card contains an embedded radio-frequency identification (RFID) chip. This technology allows the card to be scanned and accepted at facilities with automated pay stations and/or scanners used by staff. The RFID chip does not contain any personal information. It stores only the card's 6-digit serial number, and whether the card is in an active or inactive status.
The Empire Pass is usable for one vehicle (including motorcycles) entrance fee at a time. It cannot be used for other vehicles entering the park with that vehicle/shortly after that vehicle has entered.
No, you will no longer need to wait for your card to be mailed each year. Your card will be active until December 31st of the last season of your multi-season purchase. When your multi-season pass expires after the allotted time, you can simply renew the card again.
The Empire Pass does not guarantee vehicle entry into the park when special events occur and are operated by other organizations. It excludes camping, overnight parking, golf, museum or historic site admission and other special activity fees.
There is no name printed on the Empire Pass so the recipient of the card as a gift can use it immediately. If they choose to reuse the card next season, they will need email [email protected] to renew their pass and request that the identifying information be changed. This will allow us to maintain accurate records should the pass need to be renewed or replaced.
Each Lifetime Empire Pass holder is issued an Empire Pass Card for use at our facilities. The Empire Pass Card can be shared within a household. The maple leaf icon on an individual's New York State Driver's License or Non-Driver ID is a vanity icon.

Pass-through damage is a phenomenon due to which projectiles of a unit attack all units in a line upto a certain distance. Pass-through damage is different from Area of Effect damage, which comes from a unit directly.
Setting Vanish mode to 1 will allow projectiles to pass through units. Usually, Hit mode is set to 1 to stop the projectile when an obstacle like a building is met. Unlike Area of Effect attacks, pass-through damages do not cause friendly fire.
The calculation of damage received by every unit is very simple. The unit being targetted receives full damage as usual, whereas the units not being the targetted receives 50% damage, like other mishits. To enable 100% damage behaviour on unintended targets, Smart Mode (attribute 19) is set to 2 (3 to enable Ballistics behaviour as well), like with the Chakram Thrower. Other variations like 33%, 25%, tapering effect or pure 5 damage are not available.
The range of the pass-through damage is ambiguous. Ballista Elephant projectiles do not cause pass-through damage when attacking units at point-blank range because the direction vector from the projectile spawning point to the target is vertically downwards, but otherwise their projectile travels 2 tiles further than their intended target. All other projectiles travel 2 tiles further than their range, irrespective of intended target.
For pass-through damage in melee units, like the Ghulam, blast attack properties of the unit need to be modified. Blast attack level 0, 1 or 2 enables blast attack behaviour (3 disables it). Blast attack level 0 causes 100% effect, 4 causes pure 5 damage, 8 causes 50% effect, 16 causes 25% effect, 32 causes 33% effect and 64 causes tapering effect. Blast attack level 128 allows blast attack to pass in a line, rather than in a circle. Depending on the type of effect needed, one from each category need to be combined. The Ghulam has blast attack level 138, which behaves the exact same as pass-through damage. Finally, the blast radius is set according to distance which needs to be affected.
