We need to look into best practices for doing this. Previously, in the Tomcat deployment, you could add jars onto the Tomcat classpath. With the introduction of Spring Boot and embedded Tomcat, that method no longer works. We will take a look at adding a folder to the distribution so that jars in it will automatically be added to the classpath. For now, take a look at this post to see a workaround for the problem:
