Parameter Types on command invocations being sent as Integers instead of Longs

I have setup commands which has parameters of type Fixed64. When I test this command via Sitewhere admin site or the REST api the payload always sends these parameters as Integers instead of Longs.

Is there another proto type I need to use when I need to send Long values?
