Sitewhere 2.0 system requirements

Hello,

I have been looking at the system requirements for sitewhere 2.0 and was not very happy about it. 16gb ram and 80 gb storage is 10 times the requirements of sitewhere 1.0 I am using a vps now for running sitewhere which will become much more expensive with these requirements. Probably amazon iot will be cheaper. I do like the new achitecture based on docker, but 10 times higher system requirements is too much for what I use the system for. Are these requirements really needed if I only use 1 tenant with 200-500 devices?

You should stick with 1.x anyway. 2.x is developed in microservices architecture, which imho is only suitable for massively scalable deployment. For small deployment it's overkill that brings more burden than any real benefit.

Feature-wise, I also don't see any major change in 2.0 compare to 1.x.
