Question:

Hi,

I have just embedded a jing video (via a screencast account) onto google sites using the embed gadget.
Where the video should display it says
"embed gadget
Unable to display content. Adobe Flash is required."

yet if i view this page on internet explorer it works perfectly.

Everyone at my work is having the same problem. Is this a flash player issue with chrome?

Thankyou in advance

From what device are you trying to view the page? If the site works in other browsers, it might just be a browser issue--be sure your browsers is updated and continue to update--I would expect it to resolve itself through updates eventually.

It is google chrome that won't display google sites correctly! It is up to date. Firefox and IE work. I have also tried another embed gadget with no success.

You can always try following the prompts for flash and see if that works but it might require an update in chrome.

Flash isn't supported by iOS devices, (iPad iPhone) so it is normal that it doesn't work there.

Did you ever resolve this? I'm having the exact same problem.

I haven't experienced this personally. Flash should work in Chrome: here's Google's information about being sure flash is enabled: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/108086?hl=en
