Google Sites Announcement Page Audio Podcast

Can I do an Audio Podcast from the Google Sites Announcement Page?  I setup the audio podcast files mp3.  I validated the feed.  However, RSS apps on smart phones say there are no posts.

I wrote a feed xml file and it works so there isn't a problem with my audio file links.

I need a simply process which will work for faculty.

Has anyone successfully done an RSS feed audio podcasts using the Google Sites Announcement page?
