We're a group of people who have a created a Website which will allow people in our country to Rate the ISP that they are using. Currently the Website is on Google Sites. However, we plan to move on by buying and registering a Domain for our Website and start hosting it properly. We are currently considering Domain Registering Services like godaddy.com. But before we can do that, we have some queries that we'd like to be sorted out.
Firstly, we want to know how Domain Registration will effect out Website. I mean once the Web Hosting begins and we get our www.sitename.com url, what will happen to the Google Sites Website? Will it be still there or get removed?
Secondly, will we still be able to Edit the registered Website through Google Sites? If not, then I'm guessing our Domain Registration Service will provide us with the necessary tools to do so.
We have implemented tools like Google Forms and Google Analytics in the Googlw Sites Website. I know the Website url for Google Analytics will have to be changed, but will we also have to change the Forms location from the Google Sites Website to the official Website?
These are some of the key points which we need help with. We need to be clear and 100% sure about everything before we go official so that we don't have any ambiguities to worry about.
Thanks in advance.
