How can I make a blog-like template in Google Site?

Hi Google Site

I'm using Google Site to set up my own website. I mainly want to post articles (with images) on it. I used announcement template (as well as recent post gadget), but it doesn't meet my needs. How can I modify the template and add the following features:

1. Generate a list of posts automatically (just like recent post gadget) containing thumnails and texts.

2. Paginate this list so that you can access to all the posts by selecting pages ("recent post gadget" can only show several most recent posts)

3. Arrange all the posts in a user-defined sequence rather than posted-time.

Do we have any ready to use template like this? or how can I create code to do this

I don't believe there is a way to do this automatically in Google Sites yet. You might try Blogger or another platform designed more for blogging.
