Property default value

In Sitemesh 2, one used to be able to provide Sitemesh with a default value if a property was not found. How can this be done using sitemesh 3?

For example, in Sitemesh 2:

<decorator:getProperty property="..." [ default="..." ] [ writeEntireProperty="..." ]/>

Any ideas?
