Does the Site Mesh Web frame work has the capability that it can be integrated with the CMS ( Content Manged System)

The second thing is that the access to the appropriate HTML templates in which the content has to be loaded has to be done through the Web app that acts as an interceptor and loads the user requested template on which the content is set , this impacts the performance of the application where the apps are combination of the Content and also some of the dynamic things that needs to be loaded. Will this Site Mesh replace the content being retrieved from the CMS.

Hi Ramichetty,

Yes, as long as you put SiteMesh near the bottom of the filter chain. The only restriction is that the content generated by the CMS is generally well formed HTML.

I am sorry I don't completely understand your second question. Can you provide more specific details like,
  • What is the application server?
  • Is SiteMesh installed on the same application server?
  • "where the apps are combination of the Content" - not sure what this means.
  • "Will this Site Mesh replace the content being retrieved from the CMS." - Where do you intend to put SiteMesh on the chain of rendering?
