Hello

The current SiteMesh website and wiki at sitemesh.org needs to find a new home.

It's a Confluence instance that has been kindly hosted by contegix.com for the past few years (for free). Unfortunately the free deal has run out and the hosting costs are more than I'd like to pay to continue.

I do not want to run my own Confluence instance as I do not have the time to put in to keep the server running, secure, patches applied, etc.

I see 3 options:

1. If anyone is willing to host the Confluence instance and take over hosting of sitemesh.org (or sponsor the hosting with Contegix), please let me know. We can thank you on the home page.

2. Move all the content to a GitHub wiki, which is where the rest of the SiteMesh 2 and 3 projects are hosted.

3. We convert the documentation to a static website and host it for free on GitHub pages.

Thoughts? Can you help?

-Joe

p.s. In the years that Contegix have been hosting the wiki, I have been VERY impressed. I have never experienced a level of customer support that comes anything close to it. For example they proactively monitor the servers for issues and will fix things before they arise (e.g. disk space filling up). If you're looking for a top tier corporate hosting service, I recommend talking to them.

p.p.s. Also, hat-tip to Atlassian for providing an open source license to Confluence. Which in turn uses SiteMesh. It's very circular!
