WHAT YOU'LL NEED
A Sitemason account & a domain: For the time being, PHP Templates will
only run in our hosting environment. When we roll this out to the
masses, we will be supporting outside hosting environments & even
other languages like Ruby or ASP will have access to the XML. We also
require a domain to enable PHP templates to work. Sub-domains are fine
like
sitemason.yourdomain.com. If you want to use a sub-domain, in
your DNS settings you will have to point your hostname to the CNAME
web.sitemasonhost.com
Contact us: We have to enable PHP templates at the Sitemason account
level. We will then assign the provided domain to your account, and
you should be on your way. Email
bi...@sitemason.com when you are
ready to go.
Read the Documentation: For two reasons, the first is obvious... so
you can learn. But also so you can see where it's lacking and help us
document what developers are actually using and what needs to be
better explained.
http://developer.sitemason.com has all of the
resources you'll need to get started.
Some Patience: This is a really early beta, and your help will vastly
shape the development and rollout of this new program.
