Call for papers:

Knowledge in Aquinas

Aspects and Approaches

 

Institutul Teologic Romano-Catolic, IASI, 27th – 28th January 2010

 

This is the ninth annual SITA Romania colloquium. Selected papers will be published (in Romanian, translated where necessary) in Studii Tomiste, our society's journal.

Papers will be 20 minutes or less. We welcome paper proposals of around 150 words together with a current academic CV at sita.r...@googlemail.comThis e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it by 10 December 2009. The accepted languages are English, French, Italian and Spanish.

Suggested topics might include:

  • perspectives on Aquinas' epistemology
  • Aquinas' sources on knowledge
  • medieval and modern reception of Aquinas' epistemology
  • recent interpretations of Aquinas' epistemology
  • other medieval epistemologies

There will be a 15 Euro (60 RON) conference fee for non-regular members of SITA Romania.
