Come to the Source. All the roads in the world of Interactivity always seem to lead back to ITP. Maybe you have already waded into the world of creative technology and run across our work on P5, ML5, Arduino, Processing, Physical Computing or Coding Train. It is hard to avoid the gallery shows, installations or performances of our teachers and alumni. Maybe you have already taken some classes or workshops by our alumni who teach all over the world. If you work in an agency and tech company, you may have noticed that the ITP alumni do all the fun jobs. Over 44+ years, we have the DNA to cultivate the creative possibilities of emerging technology. Both the opportunities and the challenges of technologies' increasingly central role in society require more of our multidisciplinary approach. Come help us keep the invention going.
At the open house information sessions, Midori Yasuda, ITP's Admissions Director, will explain how ITP attracts students from very diverse backgrounds who want to experiment with interactivity, creativity and technology in the real and digital worlds. Questions about the department and the admissions process are addressed and a tour of the facilities will be provided.

You are invited to join us for our Spring Admissions Open House on Saturday, February 24, 2024! Faculty and staff will be on hand to answer your questions about your major, scholarships and financial aid, housing, career services, student clubs, support and more. You can also take a campus tour, attend a scholarship workshop, confirm enrollment and register for orientation and advising.
Check-in will begin at 10:00 AM in the lobby of the Grill, Administration Building (1700 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend IN.) Please note that South Bend is located in the Eastern Time Zone.
The Administration Building and information tables will remain open in the Grill throughout the Open House.There will be some scheduled activities throughout the day, however you can arrive to the event and leave when you like between 10 AM and 1 PM. The Administration Building is #1 on the campus map. Parking will be available on Mishawaka Avenue and in the parking lots on Esther Street.
We host Open House events each fall for first-year and transfer students. It is the perfect way for you to explore our vibrant campus, get to know our community and discover how UMass Lowell will support your academic, social and career goals. Fee Waiver: Attending an Open House will qualify you for an application fee waiver, which can be used on a future undergraduate application. The application fee waiver will be sent to the personal email address used when registering for an Open House. You should receive this waiver in your email confirmation. The waiver must be used at the time you apply for admission, prior to submitting your completed application, using any of our application methods. Please note, we are unable to apply refunds or credits for this waiver. The waiver is valid for admission in spring and fall.
