New pattern of university examination

This message to you all has a reference of RGPV letter, No./RGPV/Exam/2014/346 dated 25.2.2014. The said letter indicates that the, pattern of questions in 1st and 2nd year examinations will change from May-June Examination of this year. The new pattern will be as follows:

1. The paper will contain five questions, one from each question.

2. Each question will have five parts (a, b, c, d, and e)

3. Part a, b, and c will be compulsory and there will be a choice between part  ‘d’ and part ‘e’.

4. Part ‘a’ and ‘b’ will be of 2 marks and the answer should not exceed 50 words.

5. Part ‘c’ will be of 3 marks and the answer should not exceed 100 words.

6. The part‘d’ or ‘e’ of the question will be of 7 marks and the answer should not exceed 400 words.

7. There will be no objective questions.

8. Word limit would not be followed for diagram,numerical,derivations,equations.


Kindly prepare for your exams keeping these points in view.
