There are several fantastic events going on in Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, DC for avid readers and authors. September is filled with festivals and authors signing their new releases! EDC Creations is proud to announce that we will be hosting exclusive interviews at the Congressional Black Caucus, The Baltimore Book Festival and during the EDC Creations Literary Cruise. Readers, join us as we bring you the best in African Literature! School has started again and the holidays will be upon us soon, start shopping now to give the Gift of Knowledge this holiday season!
During all of these fabulous events, EDC Creations will be giving out gift bags for the book lovers and offering readers a chance to attend a private cocktail party with featured authors. If you have not had the opportunity to get a space at The Baltimore Book Festival, EDC Creations is offering a total of 8 availabe slots at the very low price of $50.00 for 2 hour booksignings on Saturday and Sunday. Because Friday is a Meet & Greet Day we are offering 4 authors the slot at $35 each to sign from 5-9pm simultaneously.
Based on author response for Saturday and Sunday your signing could last longer. All of EDC Creations clients will be given a video interview with their slots. The videos will be posted to 5 prominent video sites and on BAN eTV.
Slots available:
Friday: (Meet & Greet Day): 5-9pm EST (4 slots available for $35)
Saturday: 11-1, 1-3, 3-5, 5-7
Sunday: 11-1, 1-3, 3-5, 5-7
We are reserving space on a first come, first serve basis. The fee is $50.00 for Saturday and Sunday slots. There are only 8 slots available for Saturday and Sunday. Book your space today. This offer ends August 23, 2008.

This year's program will take place in the heart of our Nation's Capitol from September 24-27,2008 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
In this year of unprecedented political inroads, we come together under the theme Embracing the Promise, Realizing the Vision. What was once thought to be beyond our grasp is now at our fingertips. AUTHORS PAVILION
The CBC Author's Pavilion hosts the nation's premier African-American literary and scholarly talent. EDC Creations will be hosting the author's interview segments complements of The Renaissance Group, LLC. Authors come from all over the country to sign and promote their books to an informed crowd of elected officials, activists, students, businesses, and representatives from every government agency. Dynamic, personal interaction between authors and attendees is a hallmark of the exhibit hall.
Over the years, the pavilion has featured a diverse array of fiction writers, scholars, and poets, including Victoria Rowell, Iyanla Vanzant, Eddie Levert, Zane, Maya Angelou, E. Lynn Harris, Dr. Dorothy Height, Russell Simmons, Congressman Charles Rangel, Joseph C. Phillips, Connie Briscoe, Walter Mosley, Paul Robeson, Jr., Charles Ogletree, Ron Walters among many others.
The Author Pavilion will consist of approximately 30 - 40 authors. Each author will be scheduled for a meet, greet and book signing & media opportunities. The House of Khamit will be responsible for purchasing, selling and reporting sales for each author.
