We would like to apologize for our absence on the Internet and
maintaining a presence via this group.

Times have changes, members have moved on, and the economy has hinders
some from maintaining their avid reader status. All that being said,
SCBC wants to continue with the mission it was "born" on in providing
literary awareness.

Please forgive us and we will begin to work toward sharing African
American literary information again.
