USmultinational Atlas-Copco, specifically its Mafi-Trench division, has chosen the Interactive SPares cloud platform to create, manage and share its parts catalogues online.

Atlas Copco Mafi-Trench provides machinery including expander compressors and expander generators, which treat gases at cryogenic temperatures. Applications are mainly for the hydrocarbon markets, including natural gas processing, petrochemicals and power generation.

With Interactive SPares, Atlas-Copco's customers can search for spare parts using a variety of tools such as serial number, part number and description search. This allows them to place an order very quickly and without errors. At any time, dealers can access the spare parts order archive to check the progress of the order and add the same items back to the shopping basket.

The drawings created by Atlas-Copco with SolidWorks Composer software, imported directly into Interactive SPares, offer a very high quality user experience. Thanks to the interactivity of the components as well as the position numbers, customers feel involved and guided towards the best choice, free of any errors.

The fledgling service has gained traction in the industry, with over one hundred unique rail companies now signed up to the TVS Rail Spares online catalogue.
