Background
The African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC) is a premier research-to-policy institution, generating evidence, strengthening research and related capacity in the African Research and Development (R&D) ecosystem, and engaging policy to inform action on health and development.
As part of its work to build research capability, APHRC is currently implementing a project that seeks to deliver an Africa-centric research support hub that provides practical research and grantsmanship skills required to conceptualize research and successfully fundraise for it. Dubbed the Afrique Research Support Hub (ARSH), the project is run by the R&D Ecosystem Strengthening (R&D ES) Unit, which is nested under the Center's Research and Related Capacity Strengthening (RRCS) Division.
With the aim of developing post-PhD researchers’ capacities to conceptualize research and develop strong fundable proposals, the ARSH project intends to run a webinar series consisting of two individual webinars in English and French every month, each lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes. The webinar series is dedicated to discussing general practices in grant writing.
This month, the webinar will be held on February 21, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. EAT. You are cordially invited to register and attend the webinar session.
