Dear Mr. Ricky
I am Father of Hai Long (grade 4) and Bao Khanh (grade 1) in Danang SIS. I received Danang SIS ‘s notice of tuition fees in next shool year and think about it very much.
Sir, at this time it is not very unreasonable for doing education business in Da Nang when SIS dramatically raises tuition fees with a too high rate. I understand difficulties that Danang SIS are facing but I propose you and SIS board of directors review the increase in tuition fees with following criteria:
- Have tuition fees increased equivalent to the facilities (schools, teaching equipments, ....) that Danang SIS has been yet?
- Have teaching staffs been trained to get the level in the right of SIS standards as well as international schools’yet?
I exchanged these issues many times with the Office and Leaders from SIS. I believed their explanation and promises and hope that these issues will be solved, But now they are not improved. We will straight exchange these issues with each other if having a suitable time. Previously, I thought it was right when I chose Danang SIS for my children but now, I have to reconsider my thought.
On that basis, I suggest:
- SIS should not raise fees at this time but waiting more until new premises of the SIS is fully constructed and put into operation.
- Tuition fees increased and its route each year should be discussed and inform students’ family in advance to reach their higher approval.
Recently, Danang SIS has been receiving much support from city government in building the institutions under international standards in the first in Danang and got a good view of city people. I think you and SIS board of directors donot want lo lose that view. We too. Everything can be solved in a spirit of understanding and respecting mutual interests.
