bit the bullet due to the sale. 15 minutes later, nothing but regret. I have free pianos that sound better than AK. the low end sounds obnoxiously and unnaturally metallic and thin. not sure what they were doing there. you immediately start hearing that robotic machine gun effect and it's especially noticeable in arpeggios, and randomizing the velocity does nothing to help with this. some of the layers are so inconsistent and seem to have a mind of their own, clinging and clanging as if a different person recorded each note. this is probably because alicia is not a master piano player and doesn't understand anything about sampling virtual instruments. this library is so unprofessional, the fucking SGM soundfont piano has more realism and clarity than this thing. the only thing you could ever use this for is chord stabs and even then, why the hell would you? it has zero character. I'm so confused how this library got passed quality assurance.

edit: went for some more testing, realized that alicia's keys actually doesn't have round robins. idk how I missed this before but it explains everything. this piano is even worse than I thought it was.
