Hey, i know there are several threads about this topic, but most of them are completely outdated. So my question: In the last year I shot several events and a few weeks ago I had the idea to build a photo booth with my old Nikon D5200 and a small mini pc to expand my portfolio. I figured most things out, but I have a big problem: The Software. There are many softwares out there, but most of them are imo completely overpriced for a starter (a few hundred dollars per year). I tried the cheaper variants Rightbooth and Sparkbooth (60 & 160 $ lifetime) but they are in my opinion even worse than freeboth (one had f.e. a laggy liveview and the other one didn't have a simple mode with only 1 picture). DSLR Booth looks good but it's with the new subscription model pretty expensive too (around 200 $ per year or 60 per event). Is it still possible to use DSLR Booth after the subscription ended without new Updates? Or does anybody have any other recommendation? I'm looking forward for your answers. :)

Triggers are useful for integrating lights, sounds and other applications with dslrBooth. For example, turn on a led light when countdown starts, flash right before capturing a photo, and turn it off afterwards. To allow interacting with other apps, dslrBooth calls an application or a URL that you specify when certain events happens. You can set Triggers under: Settings > General > Triggers. dslrBooth will send your application the event type as well as some additional parameters. Your app will then receive this data and do what you wish.
