Hello,

Can any body help me with what information should I populate in the Arrival-PlatformName ? I have seen majority of the data providers don't include this field in their SIRI ET feed but what is the significance of this field ?

As per my limited knowledge it could be the Stand Number (A or B or C...) of the bus station or PlatformNumber of the railway station etc. But if anybody can supply me the sample feed which includes the real and meaningful value in this would be helpful.  Thanks

Hello Jay
Yes that was mainly designed to provide the platform (or quay) number (or name) in a rail station of bus station. So it is most often something like "A", "B", "1", "2", "A1", "A2" etc. but it is of course depending on the local naming context.
It is quite an important information for passenger in realtime , specially when there are some late paltform/quay change or late assignments.
Cordialement
Christophe
