Hi,

My SIPXCOM server is behind a VDSL connection (with a public dynamic ip address)
My ITSP account is configured with option Register on initialization checked

All is working fine but when my provider change my IP address, the status "Authenticated" becomes "Authenticating" (no future change)
I restarted my server... and the status is again "Authenticated"

What can I do to avoid a manuel operation on my server when my IP address change?

Manu

Well theoretically if you have System > NAT Traversal, Click on server name, Address Type setting set to Use STUN, system should detect new IP and apply it (set a reliable STUN server)
However this part wasn't thoroughly tested AFAIK so I am pretty sure there are issues with this mechanism (that's why usually we're recommending fix IP address)

Thanks

I changed my config for the stun server to another reliable.

Thanks for your suggestion...

I know that a fix IP is better but... I try to work with a lower price :(

Best regards

Manu
