Hi all,
I'm getting reports of Cisco SPA (504G) devices "freezing" while the users is on the phone resulting in a hangup and the necessity to hard reboot the phone. Cisco's support forums are all over the map with this. I'm curious - has anyone had/fixed this problem?
Thanks,
Max

Hey Max,
It might be helpful if you indicated what firmware version you are running on those SPA phones.

Sorry - Still getting used to the Google Groups interface. This is a problem on 7.4.2 firmware.

Hey Max,
Currently I don't have any 504, but I have lots of 303 running 7.5.2b with no problems. The only consideration with SipX is that we have to disable the provisioning once the phone is configured or it reboots every couple of minutes. I've checked Cisco and the latest firmware is 7.5.7. 7.4.2 is pretty old, I would try to upgrade and check if it solves your issue.
Regards
Federico

Yeah we've had a big fight with the rebooting as well. I found that setting the resync to "0" solved that problem. I'll upgrade the phone and report back.
