call recording?

Has anyone implemented call recording? I'm able to do inbound via call queues, but I would like the ability to record all calls. I need the ability to play an announcement and possibly inject a tone every xx seconds to remind callers that the call is being recorded.

Trying to see if:
* Is there a supported option
* Are there 3rd party options

Appreciate any ideas/thoughts on the subject.

It will take some software work to add an internal sipXcom recording feature, and it is absolutely a requirement worth considering.

At the moment conference recording is also supported.

If you use ITSP SIP trunks most will have a trunk side recording option, and we use this option here.

Appropriate dial plan configurations for outbound calls and trunk public number assignment for inbound calls get you reasonable control over what is recorded. E.g. you can create a new SIP trunk with recording enabled and ensure only calls involving recorded extensions are routed there.
