It will take some software work to add an internal sipXcom recording
feature, and it is absolutely a requirement worth considering.
At the moment conference recording is also supported.
If you use ITSP SIP trunks most will have a trunk side recording option, and we use this option here.
Appropriate
dial plan configurations for outbound calls and trunk public number
assignment for inbound calls get you reasonable control over what is
recorded. E.g. you can create a new SIP trunk with recording enabled and
ensure only calls involving recorded extensions are routed there.
