Hi everybody,

I have a small setup with sipXcom 15.10.1 (all services on one machine, except DNS and DHCP), a handful of Snom 720 phones, an external BRI-gateway and newly an IP-based line (ITSP is Deutsche Telekom) connected via a pfSense based router.

Before I got the IP-line I was on SipXecs 4.6u11 where almost everything worked fine. I did the upgrade by installing SipXcom on a new machine and restoring a backup.

Ok, my first problem: I cannot get the incoming SIP-calls to connect. Registration with ITSP seems fine but sipXecs replies to external invites with 407 proxy auth required. See that last incoming call in sipxbridge.log.
For a short test I changed the port forwarding to one of the phones and registered directly with the ITSP: No problems with calls (incoming and outgoing).

I have not tried outgoing calls via the pbx. I have to figure out how to route them using branches and ran into problems there too. But I spare that for later.

I went twice through the Trunking-Howto in the wiki and checked every setting that might be related to the problem and also searched the mailing list without success.

Thanks for any advice!

Hm, looks like I was wrong thinking the attached sipx-configuration.tar.gz would be the best way to provide the needed configuration details. Please, can someone give me a hint on what information is missing?

Thank you in advance!

Guido,
Can you supply a pcap for a failed call? I have seen this behavior in 15.10 and have an open Jira for it but the issue I got was SipXcom responding with 480 Temporarily Not Available and I know Roger had a similar issue. Also, check fail2ban and see if the ITSP IP address has been blacklisted.

Tommy,

thanks for looking into this. See attached pcap. Regarding fail2ban I
checked, nothing got blocked.

Has anyone had success configuring sipxcom to work with Deutsche Telekom?
