Upgrades to the newest releases

If installing the latest release of sipXcom, and importing a database from a version as example 18.x, does that database import without issues, or does it need to go through some more current releases to import without issues.

I'm not sure it's the same thing but I installed the latest version the tried to restore the configuration only from a release 17 and sipexecs never came back up. I had to reinstall and configure from scratch.

Our contribution in this regard has been to test upgrades from 21.04 to 24.01 as documented here: https://onrelay.github.io/sipxecs/upgrading.html

So the safe option would be to find a previously documented path to upgrade and restore your config to 21.04 and then upgrade to 24.01 from there.

Note we are keeping a copy of the old 21.04 repos at https://storage.googleapis.com/sipxecs/sipxcom/21.04/centos-7-x86_64/sipxcom.repo in case it should be unavailable from the previous sipxcom.org repo. You will need the google artifact plugin to access.
