Jitsi provisioning language support

Hi,

We are using Jitsi as our desktop solution almost all of our users ar Spanish speakers and we are able to configure it manually setting In Preferences -> General -> Language. However in the provisioning menu only English, Romanian, Deutch and French are available. It is possible to include other common languages like spanish?

Are you referring to jitsi provisioning menu in sipXcom product, or in the jitsi client?

We cannot control jitsi client, you have to ask on jitsi mailing list.

We refer to jitsi provisioning menu in sipXcom product.

I took a look in sipXlang-es project: and there is no jitsi translation for spanish

You can open a ticket, provide the translations for phone.properties and line.properties and  I can add them for you.

I'm lil confused,

The jitsi client does have a lot of translation including Spanish, even if you set settin_value table for the property of language (General/locale) for the jitsi phone to "es" Jitsi client will set UI to Spanish, the problem is sipXcom UI for phone profiles does not show client available languages like Spanish.

Oh, sorry, now I understand your question.

You are talking about language setting (Phone settings/General/Interface Language).

Open a ticket and we will add Spanish language in the dropdown
