There are basically 2 ways to develop communication enabled
applications with WAS CEA.
1. Use the CEA widgets and REST interface to create communication
enabled Web application. This method doesn't require any knowledge of
SIP actually, as the extendable CEA widgets give you a way to easily
add communication functionality to your web application.

2. Create more advanced SIP application with JSR 289 API.

You wouldn't need a media server just for a sample SIP application,
but you need to define exactly what you want your application to do…
